At first, I took slight offense to your comment about distracting borders. After having viewed your galleries I can see why you find borders distracting...you don't use them at all. Thank you for the commentary.

Thanks for sharing your fireworks pictures. They look nce and it must be great to be near all the buildings in Phillie- was that the art museum? I use a tripod and a cable release, f/11-13 and )-7-1 sec - the camera is set on bulb - so I open sutter and close depending on the timing of the explosions. I use raw files, then adjust in curves (select dark background with eyedropper and make it darker. I usually increase the saturation of the colors as well and crop for composition. Ann
