Message from Dale Unruh

Dale Unruh is a Seattle, Washington based freelance photographer and a winner of many juried gallery shows in the Northwest. His work for The Woodland Park Zoo can be seen on the zoo website, zoo publications, and can be viewed on display in The Northern Trail Exhibit inside The Education Center at the Zoo.
Dales' work has been published in national publications such as Cowboys And Indians Magazine, Alaska Airlines Magazine, and The American Zoo Association Magazine. He was also recently honored by having one of his images placed in The National Atomic Museum in New Mexico, funded by The United States Congress.
He supported his photography for nearly twenty years as an announcer/radio personality for Seattle area radio stations, such as KJR, KOL, and KTAC.
Since leaving broadcasting, Dale continues to be an active photographer for The Woodland Park Zoo,
and he maintains an active lecture tour teaching digital photography. His work can be seen on display in galleries and business centers throughout the Seattle area.
